The DPAF’s Cycle Bar Fundraising Event has always been an exhilarating initiative combining fitness and philanthropy. In Nashville, Derm PAs engaged in high-energy cycling sessions to raise funds for a Dermatology PA Foundation. This dynamic event not only promoted a healthy lifestyle but also harnessed the collective power of community support for a meaningful purpose.
Cycle Bar Event in Nashville
SDPA Members woke up early on Friday, October 27th, during the 21st Annual Fall Dermatology Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, to raise their heart rates and money for a good cause. $500 amount was raised for the DPAF mission to support DermPAs in their professional development and community outreach, which are in full effect, and more plans are coming in 2024. "It is a great opportunity for members to get involved and get their cardio in at the same time," states Faseeha Raza, DPAF Secretary/Treasurer. DPAF plans to expand the opportunities starting in San Diego with yoga sessions offered throughout the conference for convenience and to allow the members to have a moment of zen during the busy conference schedule. Sessions will cost $25.00/person, and all money raised will go towards DPAF's mission and vision.More information to come!
